Jeweler's excellence
Stone Paris creates almost infinite jewelry styles that are inspired by different periods in history, their common denominator is always a certain restraint, the timeless elegance of their shape and a heightened sense of paradox. The different collections have all been inspired by different events and eras that have sparked Stone Paris’ creator Marie Poniatowski’s imagination.
Inspired by the memory of centuries-old pieces admired in childhood, the Stone Paris collections reflect Marie Poniatowski's sensibilities. She finds inspiration in a trip, in architecture, in the look of an antique jewel... Her creative style is very recognizable, the finesse of the pieces and the systematic pairing of gold and diamonds, two noble materials that contribute to the Maison’s identity. This vision leads Marie Poniatowski to design jewelry made to last, creations that are reflections of the people who wear them.
Very often gifts and passed on from generation to generation, Stone Paris creations are meant to stand the test of time. The Maison is also committed to promoting and instituting sustainable development practices.
The Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) is a nonprofit certifying organization that defines jewelry supply chain norms for the jewelry industry, and which builds confidence in the industry. The organization has put into place reliable mechanisms for verifying its members responsible practices. For the sake of transparency, and to set an example, Stone Paris works only with RJC certified workshops committed to putting into place responsible ethical, environmental and workplace practices.
Stone Paris uses 18 carat gold, the titration most used by jewelers. Thus, all our pieces have a 750 hallmark that attests to the gold’s purity. Four colors of gold are systematically available: white, yellow, black and pink. The Maison is also committed to using high quality G-VS certified stones. The G attests to the “extra white” color of the diamond, measured according to the international scale that goes from D (colorless) to Z (tinted). VS stands for very small and refers to the inclusions contained within the stone, and which determine its clarity, they are so small they are barely visible with a loupe. Each piece is sold with a certificate of authenticity that includes its weight and caratage.
The Maison only offers stones that follow the Kimberley process, whose strict commercial rules ensure that the diamonds used do not contribute to financing rebel movements and armed conflicts.
All of Stone Paris’ pieces are carefully made by hand. Each step of the creation process is carefully orchestrated by a team of jeweler artisans, from conceiving the mold to polishing the finished piece. Each piece has identical parameters, for example the presence of the illusions and pearled gold so dear to Marie Poniatowski. The quality and the artisanal techniques used make Stone Paris a singular brand. Upon leaving our workshops, all our pieces undergo strict quality control to meet the high standards of our clients.
