Gilda

In tune with her times but also passionate about history; Marie wanted to accentuate volumes while continuing to favor the elegance of materials. The pieces in the Gilda collection are designed as three-dimensional objects. To do so, Marie used geometric shapes and the idea of a possible deconstruction of lines and volumes, introduced by cubism in the 30s. A period in which the New York jewelry industry grew in importance with its shapes and its geometric and generous aesthetic. It is in reference to this era that Marie wanted to bring back the Hollywood magic incarnated by Rita Hayworth in the iconic film "Gilda".
